Marguerite Self Elkins, CFP®, J.D., LL.M.
Marguerite graduated from Carson-Newman College with a BS in Business. She received her Law Degree from Campbell University School of Law and her LL.M in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. After her formal education, Marguerite practiced law at a major law firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and corporate law. After practicing law, Marguerite lead a trust department for a large bank prior to practicing in the financial planning field. She is a sought after speaker at various public forums and for public and private corporations on the topics of estate tax planning, business succession planning, charitable gift planning, and investment management. Marguerite is Director of Estate and Financial Planning for CrossBridge Wealth Management & Benefits Group.
Marguerite and her husband Randall enjoy photography and are involved in many church related activities.
